Amazon Web Services
AWS is Big West Rotaract's primary hosting service. Thanks to a generous recurring grant of $1,000 AWS credits per year, BWR is able to offer cloud computing services to member districts at no charge.
Operating System & Applications
Lightsail offers a number of pre-configured, one-click-to-launch application or developer stacks, including WordPress, Plesk, LAMP, Node.js and more. Simple operating systems are also available, including Amazon Linux, Windows Server, Ubuntu, CentOS, and more.
The most popular choice is Wordpress, a free & open-source content management system (CMS) which is used by over 40% of all websites on the internet. If you already have a Wordpress website we can also migrate it over to a Lightsail instance for you.

For Districts & Clubs seeking low-maintenance alternatives that do not require coding knowledge, BWR offers the following services, both of which are free as part of existing partnership programs:
Google Sites
Google Sites is a webpage creation tool integrated with Google Workspace. Sites can be created using click / drag & drop with no coding required.
As part of BWR's Google Workspace Nonprofit license, Districts and Clubs have the ability to connect custom domains. Rotaract-themed templates enable fast site creation with consistent branding.

Canva makes it easy for districts & clubs to create a straightforward, aesthetically pleasing websites with no coding required.
As part of BWR's Canva Pro subscription, district & clubs have the ability to connect custom domains.

BWR provides services for over 30 domains & subdomains, the majority of which are directly registered, managed, and hosted by BWR. Certain clubs & districts handle domain registration and/or webhosting independently from BWR. All member district are welcome to participate in BWR Google Workspace, regardless of setup.
